"To keep our soul, to respect our terroir and our history..."
Anne et Hugues Mallet
Then the Domaine de Lilotte estate was added in the 1970s, the Château Robert vineyard was purchased in the 1980s, and the latest acquisition, Château Govain, was made in 2013. Last but by no means least, the third generation, Jean and Bernard Mallet, has given it new life by making a significant investment in the production plant. The vinification cellars (1994) and ageing cellars (1991) constitute a solid base for the production of high quality wines on a regular basis.
Each year, the brothers pursue their labour of love to bring out the best of our terroir's great potential.
A whole team of professionals is involved each year in the birth of the new Château Haut-Macô wine. We have a cellar master, a master œnologist who works alongside us on the wine-making. There are also three vineyard workers and ten seasonal helpers who carry out the various tasks in the vineyards.
